Asalaamu alaykum,
Here is the slide show and worksheet for Qada and Qadr
The most important part of understanding this topic is the remember that Allah has no limits, while creation has limitations. Allah is above his creation, which means he has no limits – His creation is limited by various boundaries.
Second, nothing happens except that there is a reason behind it for occurring. The Prophet (saw) said, “Amazing is the position of the believer in that when something good happens he/she says Alhumdullillah and when something doesn’t go his/her way he/she is still content in what Allah has decreed” (Sahih Muslim) – why? Because the believer knows that Allah is always looking out him/her… making sure they follow the path of goodness towards Jannah and so while we think something is good for me, Allah knows it is not and so He prevents harm form coming to me…Allah is the Best of Planners and, because He created us, He knows us better than we know ourselves. A mechanic knows everything about the car he makes, even when it needs service and what type of service it needs at different measures of kilometersf and even knows approximately how long the engine will last. In the same way, we belong to Allah and He knows us best, because He created us.
